A Multimillion-Dollar Renovation Fusing Functionality and History and Culture of Shinjuku, Set for Completion in October
More international team members are being onboarded, increasing the number of languages spoken by the business events team to eight, and events packages will continue to offer Hilton’s best-in-class carbon offset program as organizers increasingly seek to meet ESG mandates.
Next-generation MICE
The new spaces will be furnished with the highest-grade LED screens and digital audio technology systems, as part of Hilton Tokyo’s partnership with Vega Project K.K. Launched in 2022, the alliance has already equipped the hotel with a one-of-a-kind curved LED screen (W15.1m x H3.04m), the largest LED screen of any hotel ballroom in Japan.
Embracing authenticity
The color palette introduces the traditional colors of Tokyo. Dark blue, used prolifically in designs in Japan since the 17th century, blends with indigo, representing Shinjuku’s role in the art of dyeing, while the earthy tones are a reminder of the traditional wooden buildings of Shinjuku. Accents of gold evoke the samurai who once lived in the neighborhood.
